We are seeking a skilled Network Support Engineer to monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot the telecom network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring network stability, diagnosing faults, and coordinating with field teams to resolve technical issues promptly. This role requires a proactive approach to network performance management, incident response, and system optimization to ensure high availability and service quality.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Network Monitoring & Incident Management:

  • Continuously monitor telecom networks, including fiber, wireless, and core networks, using NMS (Network Management Systems).

  • Detect and analyze network faults, alarms, and outages in real time.

  • Escalate and coordinate with field engineers, vendors, and relevant teams for issue resolution.

  • Document incidents, root cause analysis, and resolution steps in ticketing systems.

2. Network Maintenance & Optimization:

  • Perform routine network health checks, performance tuning, and preventive maintenance.

  • Analyze network trends and proactively identify potential issues.

  • Assist in implementing software and firmware updates for network devices.

3. Troubleshooting & Technical Support:

  • Diagnose network performance issues, latency problems, and connectivity failures.

  • Work with customers and internal teams to resolve service disruptions.

  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support before escalating to higher-level engineers or vendors.

4. Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate logs of network incidents, outages, and maintenance activities.

  • Generate reports on network performance, availability, and reliability metrics.

  • Document troubleshooting procedures and best practices for knowledge sharing.

5. Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, field technicians, and customer support teams.

  • Communicate with stakeholders regarding outages, scheduled maintenance, and service restoration updates.

  • Provide recommendations for network improvements and efficiency enhancements.
