Key Responsibilities
Inspections, Monitoring & Surveillance:
- Monitor entry/exit of employees, visitors, vendors, and vehicles.
- Perform detailed security checks to prevent unauthorized movement of Co. property.
- Supervise outsourced security guards and ensure their alertness and discipline.
- Oversee the issuance of visitor cards and maintain logs.
- Monitor CCTV and surveillance systems for operational efficiency.
Premises Rounds & Patrols:
- Conduct regular and surprise patrols across critical zones.
- Report suspicious activity, unusual behavior, or breaches immediately.
- Maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents.
Data Entry, Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain daily truck/vehicle movement logs.
- Issue and track gate passes including returnable ones.
- File records as per SOPs and support preparation of daily reports.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong observation & situational awareness
- Physical fitness and disciplined mindset
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office, Email, Data Entry)
- Familiarity with surveillance systems & access control
- Leadership and good reporting skills
- Attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills
Qualifications & Required Experience
- Matric with 15 years relevant experience
- Intermediate with 13 years experience
- Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years experience
- Computer literacy is mandatory
Candidates with a background in Armed Forces or Civil Defense will be given preference.
