Al Fatah shopping mall is a leading retail company seeking an experienced Regional Head to lead our Toys Department. Drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and develop high-performing teams.

As a Regional Head of Toys, having knowledge of product sourcing is crucial to ensure a steady supply of high-quality toys that meet customer demands. Here are some key aspects of product sourcing knowledge that a Regional Head of Toys should possess for leading the Toys Department across country, driving sales growth and developing high-performing teams. The successful candidate will have a strong retail background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for the toy industry.

Must have

  1. Product sourcing, Identifying and evaluate potential suppliers
  2. Deep product knowledge & complete awareness about recent market trends
  3. Negotiating contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers for efficient supply chain
  5. Cost-saving initiatives, such as negotiating or renegotiating contracts with suppliers
  6. Lead and train Sales team for best customer services
  7. Developing strategies to mitigate supply chain risks, such as diversifying suppliers or implementing contingency plans

Nice to Have

  1. Ensure toys comply with safety and regulatory standards, such as ASTM, CPSIA, and EN 71
  2. Collaborating with suppliers to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  3. Implementing processes to track and monitor regulatory changes and updates

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Revenue Growth:

  1. Develop and execute regional sales strategies to drive growth and achieve sales targets.
  2. Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and challenges.
  3. Collaborate with the National Retail Manager to develop and implement national sales initiatives.

Customer Satisfaction:

  1. Develop and implement customer satisfaction initiatives to improve customer experience and loyalty.
  2. Conduct regular store visits to monitor customer satisfaction and provide feedback to store managers.
  3. Collaborate with the Customer Service team to resolve customer complaints and improve customer satisfaction.

 Team Management and Development:

  1. Lead and manage a team of Store Managers and Sales Associates across country.
  2. Develop and implement training programs to improve product knowledge, sales skills, and customer service.
  3. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.

 Operations and Logistics:

  1. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards across all stores.
  2. Collaborate with the Logistics team to ensure efficient inventory management and stock replenishment.
  3. Conduct regular store audits to ensure compliance with company standards.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field.
  2. 5+ years of retail experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  3. Strong knowledge of the toy industry and current market trends.
  4. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to inform business decisions.
  6. Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
