We are currently seeking a Food Safety Technician to join our nimko and papad factory team located near sangjani toll plaza, tarnol, Islamabad.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular inspections of production areas, equipment, and processes to ensure compliance with food safety regulations
• Monitor and maintain records of food safety procedures and practices
• Implement and enforce food safety protocols and procedures
• Conduct training sessions for employees on food safety and hygiene practices
• Work closely with production team to identify and address any potential food safety hazards
• Collaborate with external agencies and auditors to maintain food safety certifications
• Stay updated on industry standards and regulations and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in food science, food safety, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in food safety, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards, including HACCP and GMP
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential hazards
• Excellent communication and training skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays if needed
