We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to manage and oversee the financial operations of our business in Lahore. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial records, compliance with tax regulations, and overall financial health of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management:Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
  • Prepare and analyze profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. Inventory and Sales

Reconciliation:

  • Track and manage inventory costs, ensuring accurate stock valuation. Reconcile daily sales transactions and deposits for both branches.

Tax Compliance:

  • Prepare and file tax returns, including sales tax and income tax, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in tax laws and implement necessary adjustments.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts for effective planning.
  • Monitor expenses and suggest cost-saving opportunities.

Banking and Auditing:

  • Handle bank reconciliations and coordinate with financial institutions for transactions.
  • Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.

Reporting:

  • Generate periodic financial reports for management. Present insights and recommendations for improving financial performance.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with branch managers and other team members to ensure financial policies and procedures are followed.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in retail businesses.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally).
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting tools. Familiarity with tax regulations and inventory management.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Language:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Urdu.
