We are seeking a skilled Shopify Developer to join our team and help us build innovative, user-friendly, and scalable Shopify apps. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coding and a deep understanding of Shopify's APIs and web technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement Shopify apps that meet business requirements
- Build, test, and maintain Shopify apps using programming languages such as Ruby on Rails, Liquid, and JavaScript
- Write clean, reusable, and efficient code that follows best practices and coding standards
- Debug, troubleshoot, and fix issues with Shopify apps and integrations
- Stay up-to-date with Shopify's platform updates, changes, and new features
- Provide technical support to customers and assist with app integration and configuration
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities
- Continuously improve app performance, scalability, and user experience
- Contribute to the development of internal tools and processes to improve the efficiency of app development and maintenance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 2+ years of experience developing Shopify apps or other e-commerce applications
- Proficient in Ruby on Rails, Liquid, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages and web technologies
- Familiarity with Shopify's APIs, webhooks, and app development tools
- Experience with app deployment, version control, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for learning new technologies and keeping up-to-date with industry trends
