Using innovative approaches, Jhpiego puts research into practice to improve the health of women and families in the technical areas of maternal and newborn health, family planning and reproductive health, and prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS and other infectious diseases. rnrnJhpiego Corporation, founded in 1973 is established to disseminate and advance, internationally, medical knowledge and its application to health problems related to human reproductive system. Jhpiego has worked in many such projects in over 140 different countries worldwide and is currently working in more than 55 countries all around the world with about 1000 USA and host countries staff. rnrnInitially established in Baltimore, Maryland, USA; Jhpiego now works in coordination with its offices established in over 30 countries located in Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia and the Caribbean; and its partners in its cause. rnrnJhpiego is working for different maternal & child health and family planning programs in Pakistan since 1997.
