Oversee and manage the Quality Control function in Laundry (Garment Dry and Wet Process) to ensure that quality excellence is achieved in the manufacturing process.
Responsible for Shade Band evaluation.
Conduct 1st Wash Load Analysis and give the go-ahead for Bulk Washing.
Evaluate TOP/Shipment samples.
Review counter copies of shade bands in washing on a daily basis to ensure product conformance as per customer standards.
Review and approve Measurement decisions.
Verify and approve copies of the shade band in the finishing area for shade-wise packing.
Maximize the first pass yield percentage at the QA Batch audit.
Minimize DHU & Rejection of Laundry.
Ensure Batch integrity is maintained in the laundry to minimize rework.
Implement SOPs in laundry to ensure product conformance as per customer requirements.
Train quality supervisors and checkers as per quality protocols to improve working efficiency.
Align the modern quality approach as per customer standards and best manufacturing practices with a strong focus on producing right first time.
