Quality Control Inspector

GH2 Industries is seeking a meticulous Quality Control Inspector with extensive experience in quality assurance and inspection within industrial settings. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that all machinery installations and equipment fabrications meet rigorous project quality standards and specifications. This position demands a comprehensive understanding of various welding techniques, non-destructive testing methods, and the ability to interpret structural and piping drawings accurately. The Quality Control Inspector will be instrumental in identifying defects, documenting findings, and ensuring that all processes adhere to safety and compliance standards. This role does not involve managing a team, allowing the candidate to focus on detailed inspections and quality assurance procedures within their area of expertise.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections of machinery installations to ensure compliance with established project quality standards and specifications.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of welding techniques, including TIG, MIG, and SMAW, applying relevant protocols to inspections.
Inspect and verify equipment fabrication and welding procedures, ensuring they meet all project requirements and quality guidelines.
Identify and report defects, non-conformances, and deviations during inspections to maintain high quality and safety standards.
Oversee all testing activities, ensuring they are conducted in accordance with safety regulations and quality compliance measures.
Interpret and review piping and structural drawings to ascertain the accuracy of construction and fabrication efforts.
Document findings from inspections and tests, preparing detailed reports for management and project stakeholders.
Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
Stay updated on industry standards, techniques, and safety regulations to continuously improve inspection processes.
Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to ensure that quality objectives are clearly understood and pursued.
