Educational Counselor

As an Educational Counselor at Our Global Aspirations, you will play a crucial role in guiding and supporting students as they navigate the complex process of studying abroad. You will provide personalized counseling, assist with university applications, and help students prepare for their academic and cultural transition.

Key Responsibilities:

Student Counseling:

Conduct in-depth consultations with students to understand their academic goals, preferences, and eligibility criteria.
Provide comprehensive information about study abroad options, including universities, courses, and visa requirements.
Assist students in selecting suitable universities and programs based on their academic profile and career aspirations.

University Application Process:

Guide students through the university application process, including essay writing, statement of purpose, and letter of recommendation preparation.
Review and edit application materials to ensure they meet the highest standards.
Submit applications on behalf of students and follow up with universities.

Visa Guidance:

Provide comprehensive guidance on the visa application process, including document preparation, visa interview preparation, and visa fee payment.
Assist students in overcoming visa-related challenges and issues.

Pre-Departure Orientation:

Conduct pre-departure orientations to prepare students for their academic and cultural transition.
Provide information on accommodation, transportation, healthcare, and other essential aspects of life abroad.

Post-Departure Support:

Offer ongoing support to students after they have departed, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., education, psychology, international relations).
Strong understanding of the international education landscape and study abroad trends.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to build rapport and trust with students and parents.
Proficiency in English and other relevant languages.
