The Steward Supervisor at HRSG plays a pivotal role in overseeing the stewardship operations within the organization. This position is responsible for leading a large team of approximately 200 individuals, ensuring that all stewardship and sanitation policies are adhered to effectively. The Steward Supervisor fosters an environment of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement, while upholding the highest standards of operational efficiency and food safety. This role involves coordination of daily activities, effective communication with team members, and active problem-solving to enhance service delivery and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and motivate a diverse team of 200 stewards to achieve operational objectives and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs for staff, ensuring all team members are proficient in cleaning protocols, food safety, and health standards.
  • Oversee daily stewardship operations, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet service demands while maintaining efficiency.
  • Implement and enforce cleaning and sanitation procedures in accordance with health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance throughout all areas of operation.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines, addressing discrepancies promptly.
  • Utilize root cause analysis techniques to identify areas for improvement in operational processes, ensuring continuous enhancement of service quality.
  • Manage inventory levels, placing orders, and tracking usage to maintain adequate supplies and minimize waste.
  • Assist in the development of operational budgets, monitoring expenditures to ensure adherence to financial targets.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages open communication, teamwork, and a shared commitment to excellence in service delivery.
  • Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
