Project: Education and Life Outcomes
Position: Full-time
Start Date: June 2023
The Institute of Development and Economic Alternatives (IDEAS) is looking for young men and women to undertake qualitative fieldwork for a study on the outcomes of education and its impact on the lives of young people. The study will be in communities in Sindh (Karachi and Hala) and Punjab (Sargodha, Rawalpindi, Jhang and Khanewal). We will be hiring interviewers in Sindh and in Punjab.
This is a full-time position for a period of 9 months and will involve extensive field travel and field visits (supported and financed by the organization). The employment will be with IDEAS, a think tank based in Lahore, and successful candidates will work with Dr. Rabea Malik (IDEAS) and Dr. Tayyaba Tamim (SOE, LUMS).

Who should apply?
Those selected will be expected to participate in an in-person qualitative training (at the IDEAS Office in Lahore) to learn about the project and data collection and management requirements. Travel arrangements and accommodation will be arranged by IDEAS.
