Technical:

  • Assist in the supervision of construction activities to ensure work is carried out according to plans and specifications.
  • Support the Project Engineer in resolving technical issues that arise during construction.
  • Monitor day today site activities, ensuring proper use of materials and adherence to construction schedules.
  • Supporting the community in purchasing shelter materials and ensuring the quality of the materials.
  • Conduct training for VRC members and masons on the approved minimum standards to ensure familiarity and proper implementation during the construction process of shelter
  • Assist in the preparation of progress reports and documentation of construction activities.
  • Conduct measurements and verify quantities for materials and labour used on site.
  • Assist in ensuring health and safety standards are maintained on-site.
  • Participate in site meetings with engineers and other stakeholders.
  • Collect data for technical reports and assist in quality control inspections.
  • Help in the review of project plans and material submissions.
  • Perform any additional duties as directed by the Supervisors.

Operational:

  • Conducting technical survey of Shelters in the villages.
  • Monitoring of schemes.
  • Ensure quality of material

Organizational:

  • Ensure compliance with IR’s policies & procedures in true spirit for effective delivery of services to communities.
  • In depth understanding of IR values and their demonstration in the field while working with communities.
  • Abide by the IR zero tolerance policy towards bribery & corruption through sensitization / empowerment of communities on coping mechanism so that they can raise voice as & when feel inappropriate.
  • Assist in identification & documentation of organizational successes for show casing IR work

Participation and facilitation in implementation of IR seasonal programmes.
