As a Legal Assistant, you will be a member of the Legal Case working team and perform the back office day-to-day activities to ensure a smooth case working process for our clients.
Key duties include but are not limited to:
- Dealing with inbound and outbound calls
- Dealing with new leads/inquiries and performing initial assessment of the matters
- Performing Client Due Diligence for new clients and ensuring that the firm has all the up-to-date information about the client and/or other relevant individuals/organizations throughout the client’s matter
- Preparing, and margining client’s case files electronically and on (where applicable)
- Review, sort , label and store the client information/documents into relevant electronic/paper folders
- Liaise with the clients over email and telephone to ensure that all desired information/documents are available in the correct format for submission
- Completing and filing relevant applications on behalf of clients
- Collect payments, prepare invoices & payment agreements, monitor payments and liaise with accounts team.
