We are seeking an experienced Project Education Manager to lead and manage government-funded education projects, specifically under initiatives such as the Punjab Skills Development Authority (PSDA), Asian Development Bank (ADB), and National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering large-scale education projects, ensuring compliance with government policies, and fostering sustainable development in the education sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement and oversee education projects funded by government programs
  • Ensure all projects are executed on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Develop project proposals, work plans, and timelines.
  • Liaise with government agencies, donor organizations, educational institutions, and other stakeholders.
  • Foster collaboration with public and private sector partners for effective project implementation.
  • Represent the organization in meetings, workshops, and conferences.
  • Develop and implement monitoring frameworks to measure project performance and impact.
  • Conduct regular evaluations to ensure adherence to government standards and program goals.
  • Provide detailed reports to stakeholders and funding agencies.
  • Ensure all projects comply with government policies, regulations, and funding requirements.
  • Prepare and submit project reports, financial statements, and progress updates to funding agencies and stakeholders.
  • Recruit, train, and manage project teams.
  • Provide guidance and capacity-building initiatives to team members.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Manage project budgets and resources efficiently.
  • Ensure optimal allocation of resources for project activities.
  • Secure additional funding or resources when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Education, Project Management, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience managing education projects, particularly under PSDA, ADB or NAVTTC frameworks.
  • Proven experience with government-funded initiatives and a solid understanding of government processes.
  • Strong background in education, training, and capacity-building programs.
  • Exceptional project management skills with experience using project management tools.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in financial management and reporting.
  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Familiarity with policy development and implementation in the education sector.
  • Knowledge of national and regional education standards.
  • Experience in leading large, multidisciplinary teams.

Duration: Full-time with opportunities for contract extension
