• Assist in Automation in preparation and validation of Regulatory reporting and financial reporting function of the Finance Department.
  • Assist in Automation in preparation and validation of periodical SAMA returns, Internal MIS, and Head office Reporting Pack.
  • Drafting and validation of Accounting Manual.
  • Developing the SoP for the management to monitor and control performance against the budget.
  • Maintain balancing of General Ledger and reporting codes to accomplish the established MIS structure.

Key Responsibilities:

1.      Assist in the preparation and validation of the regulatory returns to the CFO to ensure accuracy and compliance with prudential return guidelines and Banking Control Laws before submission to the Regulator.

2.      Assist in the preparation and validation of the Head office Reporting Pack to the CFO to ensure accuracy and compliance with Timelines.

3.      Provide assistance to the CFO in preparation of the branch budget including forecast, projected Cash flows, financial performance, Cap-Ex, and Op-Ex.

4.      Responsible for developing accounting procedures for all new products and development of the Bank's Accounting Manual, especially its update and validity.

5.      Validate day-to-day accounting of expenses.  This includes the routine month-end entries for depreciation, expense provisions, etc.  Advise other departmental staff on the appropriate account to be effected.

6.      Check the accuracy of the data on the automated SAMA returns produced by the system, to ensure that the balances agree with the Bank's General.

7.      Prepare and control the administration of the Bank's fixed assets and allocation of depreciation charges to Profit & Loss of the Branch. 

8.      Implement accounting procedures for new products for bookkeeping the outstanding balances and related income/expenses in appropriate Balance Sheet and P & L categories.

9.      Validate and monitor financial and other financial reporting.

10.   Assist the CFO in managing the financial control and accounting systems.

11.   Identify the Company’s financial needs and provide advisory to the CFO in preparation of Financial Budgets

12.   Review and advise rectification of the general accounting, cash management, and financial activities of the branch. 

13.   Recommend, implement, and develop policies and institute processes to ensure adherence to measures aimed at controlling financial risks.

14.   Any other job pertaining to the Finance Function as assigned by the management.
