We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Agent with 1 year of experience in truck dispatch services. As a Sales Agent, you will be responsible for securing new business opportunities, managing client accounts, and facilitating smooth communication between customers and dispatch teams. Your primary goal will be to promote our truck dispatch services, ensure customer satisfaction, and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities for truck dispatch services.
Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and other sales activities.
Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Present and sell dispatch services to potential clients, highlighting key features and benefits.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations to prospects and clients.
Client Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and concerns regarding dispatch services.
Ensure seamless communication between clients and dispatch teams to meet delivery timelines and expectations.
Monitor ongoing contracts and provide regular updates to clients regarding the status of their shipments.
Market Research:
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs.
Stay updated on industry developments and new opportunities to enhance service offerings.
Sales Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, including leads, contacts, and contracts.
Track sales performance and provide reports to the Sales Manager.
Collaboration with the Dispatch Team:
Work closely with the dispatch team to ensure proper coordination and efficient scheduling of shipments.
Communicate customer requirements and expectations to the dispatch team.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in sales or truck dispatch, logistics, or a related field.
Knowledge: Familiarity with the logistics and transportation industry is a plus.
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities.
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is a plus.
Other: A valid driver’s license may be required for client meetings or site visits.
