Accounts Officer

The Accounts Officer is responsible for managing financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The role involves working closely with finance teams, auditors, and management to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Transactions & Record-Keeping

Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial documents.
Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies.

2. Budgeting & Financial Reporting

Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Generate financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Provide periodic financial updates to management.

3. Accounts Payable & Receivable

Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable.
Ensure timely collection of receivables and settlement of payables.
Maintain relationships with vendors and clients regarding financial matters.

4. Compliance & Auditing

Ensure adherence to accounting principles, company policies, and relevant financial regulations.
Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
Maintain proper documentation for tax and compliance purposes.

5. Payroll & Expense Management

Assist in payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
Maintain employee financial records and statutory deductions.

6. General Administrative Support

Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Provide support in financial decision-making by offering data analysis and insights.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally, or other ERP systems).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
