Compliance Executive

The Compliance Executive is responsible for ensuring that Mars BPO adheres to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role involves monitoring compliance activities, conducting audits, and fostering a culture of ethical behavior across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, risk management principles, and an eye for detail to ensure operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Compliance

Ensure the organization complies with local, national, and industry-specific laws and regulations.
Monitor changes in legislation and update policies and procedures accordingly.
Liaise with regulatory bodies and manage compliance reporting.

Policy Management

Develop, implement, and maintain internal compliance policies and procedures.
Ensure all employees are aware of and trained on compliance-related policies.

Risk Management

Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks within the organization.
Conduct regular risk assessments and recommend corrective actions to address vulnerabilities.

Audits and Investigations

Conduct internal audits to evaluate compliance with policies and regulations.
Investigate and report non-compliance incidents, providing recommendations for resolution.

Training and Awareness

Organize compliance training sessions for employees to ensure adherence to standards.
Promote a culture of ethical behavior and compliance awareness throughout the organization.

Documentation and Reporting

Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, including audits, investigations, and training.
Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management.

Qualifications and Skills

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
2-4 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related role, preferably in the BPO industry.

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO standards).
Proficiency in compliance management tools and software is an advantage.

Key Competencies

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
