Accountant

Multitech Engineers is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate possesses strong knowledge in General Ledger processes, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable, particularly within an ERP system. With at least one year of experience as a junior accountant or similar role, the successful applicant will play a crucial role in managing daily expenses, processing journal entries, and entering vendor invoices. This position does not require team management, allowing you to focus entirely on your core accounting responsibilities, fostering an environment of professional growth through skill development and expertise in financial practices.

Responsibilities

Review and process daily financial transactions to ensure accurate entry into the accounting system.
Manage the General Ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
Prepare and process journal entries related to daily accounting functions, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Handle Accounts Payable duties, including verifying invoices against purchase orders and processing vendor payments.
Oversee Accounts Receivable, monitoring outstanding balances and following up with clients for timely collections.
Assist with month-end closing procedures, preparing necessary documentation and reconciliations.
Compile and maintain documentation for all financial transactions to ensure a complete audit trail.
Support annual audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
Utilize ERP software effectively to streamline data entry and reporting processes, enhancing overall efficiency.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and assist in budget preparation.
