1. Day-to-Day Financial Operations:

  • Manage daily financial transactions, including payments, receipts, and expense recording.
  • Maintain up-to-date project financial records in compliance with organizational and donor policies.

2. Budget Tracking and Monitoring:

  • Assist the Finance Coordinator in tracking budget utilization and preparing monthly financial summaries.
  • Identify and report variances from approved budgets for timely corrective action.

3. Financial Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure all financial activities comply with donor regulations and NRSP policies.
  • Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions for audit and reporting purposes.

4. Bank and Cash Management:

  • Oversee the management of project bank accounts, including reconciliations.
  • Ensure the availability of cash for project activities through efficient cash flow planning.

5. Support to Field Teams:

  • Provide financial support to district teams, including funds disbursement and expense verification.
  • Assist in resolving financial queries from field staff and stakeholders.
