1.M&E System Design and Implementation:

  • Develop a robust M&E framework with SMART indicators to track project progress, outputs, and outcomes.
  • Design data collection tools, surveys, and baseline/impact assessments tailored to project needs.
  • Establish and maintain data quality assurance protocols to ensure the integrity of collected information.

2. Data Management and Analysis:

  • Lead data collection, compilation, and analysis to assess project performance against targets.
  • Utilize statistical software (e.g., SPSS, Stata, or R) to generate insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Prepare dashboards and visual reports for real-time tracking and decision-making.

3. Field Monitoring and Oversight:

  • Conduct regular field visits to ensure compliance with project standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor the implementation of learning interventions at the district and school levels, ensuring consistency and quality. 
  • Engage community members in participatory monitoring processes to build trust and ownership.

4. Capacity Building in M&E Practices:

  • Train project staff and community members on data collection, reporting, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Provide technical support to district teams in using M&E tools and interpreting findings.

5. MIS Development and Integration:

  • Oversee the development of a Management Information System (MIS) to track project beneficiaries and intervention progress.
  • Ensure alignment with existing systems (e.g., British Council MIS or NRSP tools) for seamless data integration.

6. Reporting and Feedback:

  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for donors, technical partners, and internal management.
  • Provide actionable recommendations for project adaptation based on data trends and stakeholder feedback.
  • Document lessons learned and success stories to guide future programming.
