We are seeking a dynamic and passionate STEM Teacher to join our innovative educational program. This role involves teaching Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics to young girls, with a focus on interactive and student-centered learning. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in STEM fields and a commitment to inspiring a new generation of female scientists, engineers, and mathematicians.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Curriculum Development and Instruction:

  • Design and implement a comprehensive STEM curriculum aligned with our educational goals.
  • Conduct engaging and interactive lessons in various STEM disciplines.
  • Integrate practical experiments and projects to enhance learning experiences.

2. Student Engagement and Support:

  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity in students.
  • Provide individualized support and mentorship to students, particularly in areas of STEM.

3. Collaboration and Integration:

  • Work collaboratively with other teachers to integrate STEM with other subjects.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary projects and school-wide initiatives.

4. Continuous Learning and Improvement:

  • Stay abreast of current trends and advancements in STEM education.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve teaching methods and materials based on feedback and best practices.

5. Community and Parental Engagement:

  • Communicate effectively with parents about student progress and curriculum goals.
  • Participate in community events and initiatives to promote STEM education, especially for girls.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field; a Master’s degree or teaching credential is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in STEM subjects.
  • Strong foundation in curriculum development and classroom management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for STEM education and gender equity in education.
  • Ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
