Operations Manager - FMCG

You will oversee the daily operations within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, who can manage resources efficiently to ensure smooth production and distribution processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategies to optimise the supply chain and production processes.
Manage the daily operations of the company, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Coordinate and supervise the production and distribution of goods to ensure timely delivery and quality control.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on operational performance.
Implement cost control measures to increase profitability while maintaining product quality.
Collaborate with other departments such as Marketing, Sales, and Human Resources to ensure alignment of operational objectives.
⁠Lead and develop a team of operations staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
⁠Identify and mitigate risks related to operational processes.
⁠Ensure that health and safety standards are maintained across all operations.
Manage relationships with external partners and suppliers.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
⁠Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar role within the FMCG sector.
Strong understanding of supply chain management and production processes.
⁠Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
⁠Ability to develop and implement strategies.
⁠Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
⁠Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
