As a brand manager, I was looking at their footwear operations. My job tasks included but were not limited to the following.
1. Conducted market surveys and shop feedback for better inputs for product development dept. 2. Planned, developed and directed marketing efforts to increase value of our products. 3. Coordinated and worked directly with merchandising and product development teams. 4. Actively participated in strategy meetings and organizational target setting exercise sessions for upcoming seasons.

Being the Chief Merchandiser I was managing a team of smart individuals. Primarily, I was responsible for the following:

As a head of Screen Printing, I use to coordinate in taking orders and conducting QA of printing. Following are some major tasks:
1. Conducting audits of printing sample
2. Managed quality printing on garments and footwear
3. Managed composition of printing Emanuel
4. Presenting different techniques of screen printing to buyers

1. Working closely with buyers and other merchandisers to plan product ranges.
2. Meeting with suppliers, distributors and analysts.
3. Managed pre-production costing.
4. Managing budgets, predicting sales and profits.
5. Supervising and training junior staff.
6. Negotiating quantities and delivery time-scales.
7. To health check manufacturing from cutting till packing.
8. To monitor on all outsourced work like printing, embroidery, washing, handwork etc
