Mr. Waheed Hyder is a development expert for the last 11 years. Currently, he is working as a Project Manager with a national organization. He has been working in the fields of research, assessment, monitoring & evaluation, capacity building, and youth development.
Mr. Waheed is zealously motivated to contribute to the betterment of underprivileged young people. He holds a Master’s degree in “Linguistic” from the University of Sindh, Pakistan. Mr. Waheed has working experience in different programs such as youth empowerment, skills development and livelihood, education support, emergency response, seasonal projects, nutrition-sensitive, health, and water projects at the field level.
He is adept in the development M&E framework, data collection & management, research & assessment, and statistical analysis. Mr. Waheed Hyder is also skilled and experienced in developing data collection tools (quantitative and qualitative) to be utilized in monitoring and reporting against log-frame indicators.
Initiate monthly budget projections and oversee project expenditure and hold budget management responsibility for the project, including monitoring budget vs. expenditure, ensuring that costs are allocated correctly and expenditure is happening in line with the cost and finance plan of the donor
Provide leadership, training and capacity development support of project staff
Ensure that project progress is effectively monitored through the regular collection and analysis of key indicators and ensure that processes and results are properly documented
Prepare detail implementation Plan of the project intine with project planning matrix.
Work closely with local authorities for smooth implementation of project and ensure effective coordination and collaboration with key stakeholder’s non-governmental organisations (NGO’s), civil society organisations, community groups, private sector actors and government counterparts.
Promote support to and advocate for girls’ participation in vocational training and education;
Ensure that internal and external reporting requirements are met, including monthly, quarterly and annual narrative reports, in line with the donor

Contribute to the development of Detailed Implementation Plan (DIP) and MEAL Plan to identify project targets and ensure the inclusion of M&E activities
Conduct and facilitate programme team in need assessment, baseline, end-line and post distribution monitoring surveys in terms of forming data collection tools, sample size, training of data collection team.
Conduct field visits for data validation and to monitor the quality and completeness of data sets; coordinate data collection at project sites to monitor program development and ensure timely compilation and reporting of data; capture and document lessons learned
Contribute to developing and reporting of project reviews, assessments, surveys, and other analytic or evaluation processes and products
Maintain an effective record and filing system for all complaints solved and pending issues including correspondences with subsequent regular updates to the respective Welthungerhilfe (WHH) focal point
Develop IEC material for CRM and ensure accountability at field level during program implementation by orienting program team and beneficiaries during project activities and in consultation with communities fix the entry point for CRM.
Ensure quality and timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual donor reports; manage the preparation of additional reports
Project: Programme for Improved Nutrition in Sindh (PINS) ER-III funded by European Union (EU)
Lead the process of monthly work planning and ensure that the field team has provided with all required resources (financial, technical, and human resources) to achieve monthly targets
Provide overall guidance to WASH and Agriculture officers for planning and implementation of training activities and support them to seek technical assistance from concerned line departments of government
Lead field team to work on supply system for sanitation component and coordination with public and private organizations or companies for supply of improved varieties of seeds, livestock, poultry, and fish seed to communities
Ensure close coordination with Technical Assistance Partner of PINS (ER-1) and ACF (Responsible to implement ER-2 Nutrition Specific Interventions), Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and provide them support for their community-level interaction through LSOs
Ensure close coordination with concerned AAP departments (Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, Local Government, and Public Health and Engineering Departments) at the district level to seek their regular support for programme implementation and foster their linkages with LSOs to provide the community support for the implementation of their community-level activities
Consolidate community needs/issues related to nutrition, WASH, and AFS and share key facts with District Manager to be presented in meetings of Joint Development Committee (JDC) meetings chaired by Deputy Commissioner under the SUCCESS programme
Represent RSPN/NRSP in District Nutrition Coordination Committee (DCCN) and share project progress and seek the support of members for effective implementation of the project
Conduct regular supportive supervision visits to the field, identify gaps in implementation and provide guidance to the field team to improve the quality of implementation
Conduct monthly planning and review meetings with the field team and provide strategic direction to achieve project targets

Gather data on the standardized tools, based on the Pub-SSD information needs, from facility and community-based providers either from the existing government data management systems or gathering additional dataset per project needs
Responsible to gather and retrieve family planning related dataset from the government existing management information systems.
Work closely with the implementing partners, Pathfinder International and its Pub-SDD project officers and ensure that relevant dataset is collated whilst the project officers and technical team members implement program interventions in the target districts
Compile the collated dataset for different activities in the project databases and management information system in timely manner and per the set deadlines
Conduct periodic data quality spot checks based on the standardized tools in close collaboration with provincial M&E coordinators
Assist in conducting qualitative and quantitative assessment in the Pub-SSD project districts
Establish good working relationship with district health and PWD counterparts
Project: Sindh Union Council and Community Economic Strengthening Support (SUCCESS) Programme funded by EU
Oversee activities of all components Social Mobilization (SM), Community Investment Fund (CIF), Income Generating Grant (IGG), Micro Health Insurance (MHI) and Community Physical Infrastructure (CPI) implemented under the programme.
Responsible to take care of all monitoring and reporting aspects of the project as given in project M&E framework and Project Monitoring Plan of District Tando Allahyar and Matiari.
Arrange Joint Development Committees (JDCs) meeting to be chaired by Deputy Commissioner on quarterly basis with government line departments at district and Taluka level to ensure close coordination among Community Institutions (CIs) so that union council level issues may incorporate in District Development Plan (DDP) of district government for community development
