Highly accomplished, dedicated and results-driven Psychologist with overall more than 04 years of progressive experience in the field of Psychology, Case Management, Data Management, Management Information System, Monitoring, and evaluation with different National, Government and International Organizations.
- Assist in coordinating the work of field protection staff and/or implementing partners (IPs) in the implementation of specialized protection services.
- Providing capacity-building sessions to field protection staff and/or IPs on general protection, protection mainstreaming principles, gender-based violence (GBV), child protection (CP), counter trafficking (CT), safe referral pathways, prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA), data protection and other relevant topics.
- Acting as Focal Point for conducting referrals at provincial-level and providing direct case management services for urgent protection cases, when required, including conducting comprehensive assessments to identify urgent protection needs as well as planning, implementing and following up on tailored action plans to achieve protection outcomes.
- Supporting the coordination, monitoring, and improvement of timely and safe implementation of specialized protection services in line with IOM’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work plans and project objectives, including through weekly and monthly project tracking and reporting tools.
- Contributing to ensure that data on protection cases is systematically and accurately collected by field protection staff and/or IPs in a confidential manner and entered in relevant tools, databases and information management (IM) systems to facilitate monitoring and reporting.
- Conducting regular field visits in different districts to monitor service delivery and work performance of field protection staff and/or IPs, conducting periodic meetings to discuss challenges, ad hoc follow-ups, as well as identifying challenges and capacity-building needs of field protection staff and/or IPs.
- Coordinating through relevant Working Groups and establishing and maintaining good relations with relevant external services providers, providing clear information on IOM’s activities, and strengthening referral pathways for the provision of protection services.
- Assisting in the design and improvement of relevant project tracking and reporting tools as well as periodic review and update of case management SOPs.
- Contributing to continuously strengthen the capacities of field protection staff and/or IPs by identifying gaps, planning and providing on-the-job coaching, mentoring, technical guidance and training sessions, and supporting the development, translation and roll-out of training packages.
- Supporting the Protection Unit with other specialized tasks at provincial-level and activities, upon request, including but not limited to conducting field visits, key informant interviews (KIIs), focus group discussions, awareness raising sessions and other activities.
- Support the Cash-based interventions process and assist to coordinate with beneficiaries and financial service provider(s) to ensure efficient, accountable, and timely cash distribution.
Support the implementation of all activities under Community Resilience, Livelihood and Recovery (CRLR) portfolio as guided by the Programme Manager, technical team and area based coordinator, and in line with provided technical tools.
Participate in livelihood assessments including labour market assessments, under the guidance of the Programme Manager.
Assist in the mapping of local service providers for Vocational Training, On-Job-Training, Job Placement, and Farming Training as required.
Assist to identify and coordinate with potential private companies for the implementation of job placements, and On-Job-Training, etc.
Follow up and monitor the performance of IPs when applicable, to maintain consistency and timely implementation of activities.
Support the beneficiary selection process by conducting interviews, carrying out surveys, and filling beneficiary profile applications using toolkits provided by the technical team.
Support IOM selected individuals by facilitating orientation meetings and business training sessions as necessary and support them in the formulation of their business plans.

Ensure proper documentation and confidential submission of reported GBV incidences through utilization of GBVIMS case intake, action, follow up and other case management forms appropriately.
Maintain detailed and confidential case files, ensuring they are carefully and safely stored in the in-line with the Case Management Protocol, data protection protocols, and safety and ethical standards on GBV information management and ensuring the WPE Case Tracker remains password protected.
Actively participate in the mandatory weekly team case management meeting at the WGSS or Office, and the individual supervision sessions with your case work supervisor (WPE Officer).
Working with the WPE Officer, regularly advocate for the provision of life-saving medical care including clinical management of rape, SAC, PAC, family planning and other SRH, and where available and of quality.
