Summary

I have four years of professional and academic (Research) experience in field of Geographic information system and Remote Sensing. I've worked in Non-profit and ICT research project related to disaster management, governance, development and infectious diseases. Mapping, cartography and statistical analysis are my major interest areas.
Im a highly motivated GIS professional. I have completed MS in Geo-informatics in 2013 with CGPA 3.5. I also did MSc in Space Science in 2010 with CGPA 3.76. Currently Im working in University of Engineering and technology as technical researcher in an ICT and RD project. Ive worked with Alhasan System Pvt Limited as GIS and RS Specialist. I was responsible for GIS mapping and analysis, GIS Training, GIS training module development and managing Geo-database.
Previously Ive worked with National university of Science and technology as GIS lab instructor where I remained busy in conducting GIS trainings of undergraduate students. Main focuses of these trainings were Application of GIS in Civil Engineering. Ive worked with WWF, Pakistan as GIS associate (trainee). Im interested in both academic research and industry development projects
I have expertise in GIS and image processing software like ArcGIS, ERDAS Imagine, MapSever, QGIS, GRASS and ENVI. I also have good knowledge of GPS, DGPS, designing and maintaining spatial and non-spatial databases.
