Construction Manager
Report to the Project manager and lead the construction team of site engineers, surveyors and senior, supervisors etc.
Implementation of the project schedule with in budgeted cost of the project.
Liaison with SB Core-team, consultant, sub-contractors and local authorities for implementation of the drawings and specifications.
Monitor work progress and advising project manager on revised schedules.
Review and approval of the Look Ahead Schedule, MRP & RRP.
Tracking of Look ahead sch. & preparation of recovery schedules in case targets are not achieved.
Advising project manager regarding staff performance. Addressing all issues that directly or indirectly impact the construction progress.
Assist in approval, & selection of the sub-contractors, Plant & equipment and other resources required for execution of the works.
Coordinates sub-contractor and nominated sub-contractor meetings.
Dealing with Consultant & Procurement (SB) for Approval of Material, Dwgs & Sub Contractors.Verifying interim payments, sub-contractor payments, and all other payments required for execution of the works.
Addressing design related issues, making sure that latest IFC drawings & specifications are present on site.
Review and approve shop drawings and method statements prepared by site engineers. Review and approve site as-built drawings for all civil, architectural, mep and structural works.
