Summary

I have recently completed my Masters in Economics. I have only one professional experience in Banking sector i.e. six weeks internship at National Bank of Pakistan. I want to opt for Banking industry as my career. My responsibilities at this internship were:
Collection of All kinds of utility bills and keeping their record
Collection of challan forms and other credit and debit entries and saving their record. Helping people fill out their Cash and Cheque vouchers
Helping in disbursement of pensions by checking their pension books and all the relevant information, helping them fill out their vouchers for receiving their pension and posting the pension books to the officer who finally checks and approves their claim, posting of EOBI record through the Bank’s software especially designed for this purpose. Completing their summaries and Keeping all the record of these pensions up to date in Computer.
I have also worked in Western Union money Transfer. In this regard I helped people fill out their forms, sometimes filled forms for them, entered the acquired information in the computer for further processing of the method to Receive or send money, finally having been able to Receive or send their money through Western Union money Transfer. In short performing all the steps by myself.
For few days I also worked in checking the General Ledger for credit and debit entries.
I also had the responsibility to update the Remittances and take prints of ‘Today’s Report’ and ‘F-17’ daily.
For 2 days I was asked to enter NIDA data in Excel sheets.
Other than all the computerized work there was also some manual work especially regarding taking the records of Pensioners and making Scrolls of all different kinds of pensions, challan forms and for utility bills as well.
For one day I have also been with the clearing department.
I posses some knowledge of Agriculture as I had taken a course of "Agriculture Economics" in my final semester.
