On Pareto Type І Distribution

Chapter-1 The general introduction of the study of Pareto distribution, Beta distribution and its generalization, Weighted distributions and some other distributions are given. Chapter –2 A brief review of literature about Pareto distribution, Beta distribution, their generalization, Double Exponential Weighted distribution and related to my topic is provided. Chapter – 3 The density function of Weighted Pareto type І and its basic properties like cumulative function, rth moment, moment generating function, mean, variance, skewness and kurtoses, characteristic function has been derived in this chapter. The reliability properties are also drive in this chapter. The method of maximum likelihood is proposed for estimating the model parameters. Chapter – 4 The density function of Generalized Beta generated Pareto type Ι and its basic properties like rth moment, moment generating function, mean, variance, skewness and kurtoses, characteristic function has been derived in this chapter, The method of maximum likelihood is proposed for estimating the model parameters. Chapter – 5 The empirical study for the proposed distribution has been conducted to observe the behavior of distribution. Plots and tables of density functions, cumulative distribution function, reliability function, hazard function and reversed hazard function are obtained.
