EDD processes and compliance requirements.
• Continuously assess existing processes and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Undertaking the CDD process for new and existing clients in accordance with the relevant laws and
regulations, internal guidelines, policies, processes & procedures.

Responsible for quality review of CDD/KYC documentations done by all business departments (Consumer, Corporate, Commercial, SME, FI).
• Review and assess KYC/CTP documents of New-to-Bank customers (Corporate, Consumer, Commercial, SME, FI).
• Review Periodic KYC documents prepared by all business for High and Medium Risk customers.
Preparation of MIS for Periodic customer risk assessments and for review Unit and Management reporting.
• Review and assess KYC/CTP documents for Top 100 customers’ exercise.
• Review of TBML documents.
• Proactively identify and report any inherent risks to CDD Head for risk minimization.
• Assist in reviewing policies and procedures related to CDD.
• Attend and complete all required HR and on the job training on time.
• Perform Batch Screening with the assistance of I.T, supervising whether the alerts generation are in adherence to the defined parameters and evaluating hits timely through FCM.
• Ensuring TBML Screening is performed timely of the desired information mentioned on TCIF/TCDD forms which includes but not limited to (Applicant/Beneficiary/Signatories/Commodities/Origin of Good/Ports) through FCM, World check and ensuring that no sanction element is involved.
Assistant Manager Compliance -AML (TMS) (OG-II)
• Investigating the potential risk of money Laundering, terrorist financing, sanction and any reputational risk (if associated) with clients considering “Guidelines” and “AML Red Flags” highlighted by State Bank of Pakistan.
• Monitor Transactions in customer’s accounts as per the Alert Handling Procedures Investigate / report suspicious transactions & handle queries related to FMU.
• Monitor Transactions as per the Alert handling process & procedures Liaise with management to develop and investigate strategies.
• Identifying of suspicious transaction and timely reporting of STRs/CTRs (to AML Head to be further reported to FMU) to avoid bank from being penalized.
• Acquiring and reviewing of client’s information and closing respective alerts on SAS.
• Ensure proper follow ups are made with all relevant stakeholders.
• Updating of daily correspondence (conducted with concerned branch) on SAS.
