Being a part of the Centre of Excellence Team (CoE), I play the role of a strategist who liaisons with HR Business Partners to achieve the business goals of their designated business units.
Recruitment & Selection
- Responsible for end to end recruitment cycle for vacant positions and ensuring KPI's like time to fill and quality of hire.
- Be up to date about the supply of resources in the market to understand critical employees and positions in the organization.
- Create a pipeline of current and future resources according to the needs of the business.
- Engage in vacancy justification with HRBPs in order to understand the actual need for resources in a particular area to ensure headcount optimization.
- Continuously improve on boarding plan and coordinate with respective HRBPs for smooth integration of new joiner with his/her department.
- Design & broadcast JOB ADS on multiple mediums.
Employer Branding
- Focus excessively on employer branding to attract high potential resources and making PEL an employer of choice in the engineering sector all over Pakistan.
- Updation of PELs LinkedIn Page on a daily basis through multiple informative posts increase followers by 75.
- Liaison with target universities, manage career fairs, plan regular visits to universities for recruitment drives in different universities i.e UET, LUMS, LSE, UMT, UCP.
Performance Management
- Support the Team Lead in initiating the yearly objective setting exercise.
- Intermittent monitoring of objectives and performance of employees with line managers
- Provide support in final appraisal activity which includes data updating, system updating, etc
Other Projects
- Implementation of SAP SuccessFactors - PMGM
- Reinforce and ensure Competency Based Interviews are conducted across the organization.
- Carry out Buddy Employee engagement meetings on a quarterly basis to reinforce their significance and role.
- Carry out the Summer Internship Program.
