In my role, I specialize in Election Law and Monitoring, ensuring legal compliance and integrity in elections, including Union Elections. I am also dedicated to promoting Gender Equality and Mainstreaming, advocating for inclusive representation in the electoral process. My work is pivotal in upholding democratic principles and fostering a fair, equitable electoral environment.

Key responsibilities involve

Advising and drafting legal documents of various business transactions, such as, mergers, acquisitions and business sales. Day-to-day, work involving creating companies, drafting contracts, sourcing venture capital, buying and selling ownership interests and conducting \\\\\\\"due diligence\\\\\\\" before a major transaction.

My key roles include providing comprehensive transactional advisory service to clients during all phases of Project Financing projects. Advising, clients on corporate governance issues such as directors\\\\\\\' duties, the regulatory environment and reports that must be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Expertise in reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts, corporate transactional documents and regularly, advising clients on project finance projects, mergers and acquisitions, privatizations and various other corporate transactions.

• Drafting various Commercial, Corporate and civil transactions, negotiating and drafting agreements deeds including Loan agreements, corporate sales agreements, Lease agreements, Partnership agreements, strategic alliance agreements, service agreements, licensing agreements, Mortgage deeds, Intellectual Property agreements, rent agreements etc.
• Conducting proceedings before civil courts, session’s court / insurance tribunal, consumer courts, banking court, labour courts and the Punjab labour Appellate Tribunal.
• Drafting and responding to Legal Notices on behalf of the Company.
• Referring contentious matters to external counsel; follow-up, liaison and providing institutional legal support.

Corporate Taxation Compliance • Transaction advisory including planning for achieving Mergers, Acquisitions, De-mergers, and Corporate re-organizations • Personal Taxation Service (Resident or Non Resident) • Dealing with Indirect Taxation • Custom, Excise duties, Value Added Tax (VAT)/Sales tax, Service tax and Foreign Trade Policy-related matters • Day-to-day reporting, compliances and accounting for indirect taxes • Keeping confidential records and tax information for clients

• Dealing with legal issues related to the ownership of service marks, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, and copyrights, acting as legal advisors and advocate. •Providing counseling about the rights and obligations of the clients. •Representing my clients in courts, Trademark registry, handling oppositions and drafting legal documents. •Offering advice about protection of trademarks, and, in the process, helping clients and preserving brand images. •Rendering advice on vast areas of regulatory and company law matters including inter alia – constitution of board of directors, winding up, investments, company incorporation acquisition and mergers, joint ventures and borrowings in associated companies • Drafting and responding to Legal Notices on behalf of the Company. • Referring contentious matters to external counsel; follow-up, liaison and providing institutional legal support. • Registering various charges upon the assets of the Company, including inter alia, floating and ranking charges
