As a mental health professional, I assist individuals, couples, and families with a range of issues from minor adjustment challenges to severe mental health conditions. In my role in the social sector, I have worked on cases involving Mhpss, gender-based violence (GBV), child protection (CP), sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV), and LGBTQI issues, using appropriate psychological protocols for assessment and management. With over three years of experience, I have served as a mental health case manager, psychosocial support counselor, child therapist, and clinical psychologist.

• Conducting the full case management process (Assessment
(Biopsychosocial assessment), care planning, referral,
follow-up & discharge).
• Build proper rapport with the client and their family,
caregivers, friends, and others with the client's consent.

activities.

Provide psychological first Aid to refugees.
Filter out different vulnerable cases like GBV, CP, SGBV or LGBTIQ, etc.
Arrange individual and family sessions as well if someone is needed.
Psycho-social support activities and assessment/intervention with clients.
Try to manage different refugee psychological issues with the help of behavioral or management techniques.
If someone needs medical or financial assistance then we refer to the concerned department or discuss with UNHCR focal person and they refer on their own behalf.
We make a report of the vulnerable case & then email it to the concerned UNHCR officer.
Maintain confidentiality of the claim and information of the Afghan Refugees and non -Afghan Asylum seekers during outdoor & indoor sessions
