Worked as Faculty Member (Professional Development Teacher) in Aga Khan University, Institute for Educational Development- Professional Development Centre, North (PDCN- Gilgit). Major responsibilities included: conducting and facilitating Professional Development Programmes offered by AKU-PDCN. Facilitated sessions for UNICEF Child-Friendly Schools’ project for teachers, head teachers and school management committees, Women Leadership programmes, Advanced Diploma in Primary Education, Certificate in Educational Leadership & Management, Content reinforcement workshops. Besides, worked in one of the ‘Whole School Improvement Programme’ (WSIP) schools, which was a flagship programme of PDCN. Conducted baseline survey in two schools in District Astore selected for WSIP 2007- 08. Also, worked on school improvement processes and Quality Assessment for a selected school in Gilgit. During this period, I also facilitated a number of sessions for partner schools.
