I was joined Berger Paints Pakistan Ltd in July 2012 after completing my graduation from UET Lahore. I was appointed as R&D Engineer. I was responsible for the Quality Control, R&D (Printing Inks) in lab as well as in production by means of process improvement. I was also responsible for Raw material evaluation for cost reduction of the product. I am expert in recipes of NC based, PU based, Water based, NC-PU based, PA based, NC-PA based, Offset and Tin Printing, Water based adhesive and solvent based adhesive. After this I was given additional charge of ISO coordinator to assist QC manager for the implementation of ISO standards and shifting the standards from ISO 9001: 2008 to ISO 9001:2015.
Achievements: I have developed the water based adhesive and solvent based adhesive formulation in Berger whose market is 30 tons /day in Pakistan only. I have improved the efficiency of Bead mills and Attritors by 20%-30%. I have made the comparisons of PD pumps Gear pump and Diaphragm pump for pigment grinding in bead mills and found diaphragm pump a suitable pump regarding cost and color strength and saved Company’s investment. For which I have declared Employee of the year 2015.
