Experience
Management Trainee Officer (MTO)
I have been working as a Management Trainee Officer (MTO) at GIK Institute for the last two years. Work in the procurement department throughout this time to gain insight into how the department operates. The following responsibilities have been performed during the tenure:
• Responsible for assisting the procurement department\'s regular operations by procuring goods and services.
• Responsible for processing indents related to the various faculties & departments in the GIK Institute by selecting appropriate procurement methods in compliance with rules and regulations.
• Processing Purchase Orders/Work Orders after approval and ensuring delivery of the products & services on time.
• Responsible for preparing procurement documents and issuance of these documents on print media and the GIK Website (i.e., RFQ Notices, Tender Notices, and documents).
• Accountable for processing tenders under the Single Stage Single Envelop procedure & Single Stage Two Envelop procedure. Conducted technical evaluations of the bids as per criteria mentioned in the tender documents and performed financial operations as per rules.
