An independent power producer (IPP) has a cogeneration power plant of 62.4 MW. Generating power completely on biomass makes it 100 percent carbon emission-free and green energy.
– Water Treatment Plant: Understood the demineralized water preparation through demineralization train and EDI systems, Cooling Tower working, parameters, and chemical dosing.
– Boilers and Turbines: Understood the operations of 2x155 TPH Water tube boilers, 2x31.2 MW Extraction & Condensing type steam turbines, lube oil systems, condensers, Air ejectors, Gland steam systems, and pumps.
– Fuel and Ash Handling System: Understood the operations of Belt Conveyors, Slot Chain Conveyor, Drum Extractors, Screw Feeders & Pneumatic Distributers, Fuel Storage Management, ESP, ID Fan systems, Ash Handling

As a member of the management and Organizer team, my major responsibilities with my team were producing detailed proposals for the Auto Show (including timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing, and budgets), managing and coordinating suppliers and all event logistics (for example, venue, catering, travel), handling queries and troubleshooting during the event days and making ensure that all runs smoothly and to the budget, giving full briefings to higher authorities of PAAPAM,  Supervising volunteer teams for car parking, traffic control, security, first aid, hospitality, and the media.Mr. Anaas Haroon (Manager Auto Show 2022) and I managed post-event marketing/communications (‘thank you for coming email, feedback surveys. Also analyzed feedback and report data to measure whether the event goal was achieved. Quality check of Auto Show 2022 revenue and expenses. Completed the documentation of whole events according to the ISO.

In our four-week internship at Sui Northern Gas Pipe Lines Limited (SNGPL) Lahore, we were sent to the Transmission office Shahdara-Lahore and the Transmission office Monoval-Lahore where we visited different departments and observed their working procedures. The departments were;

We were taught a lot of new things mainly how to deal with professionals. We got acquainted with their professional dealing. We also learned the practical applications of Mechanical Engineering.

It was a gigantic experience. I gained a lot of knowledge about different military aircraft. The big thing was to understand the disassembly, overhauling, inspection, testing techniques, and assembly of military aircraft.I learned a lot about machines involved in overhauling processes like CMM, CNC Horizontal and Vertical Lathe Machines and Turret Lathe Machines, Universal Milling Machines, different CNC boring like JIG Boring Machines, CNC Pipe bending Machines, different types of furnaces, Various electroplating techniques, different types of welding like EBM, TIG Welding, Sciaky Seam Welding Machines different systems of an aircraft (e.g. fuel, electrical, flight control, hydraulic, power, avionic, etc), structures, etc.I observed and learned about Quality control and Quality Assurance. Observed Industrial environment and production and overhauling process chain.
