I am a development sector professional with more than 10 years of experience in the social development sector, with hands-on knowledge in protection mainstreaming, gender-based violence (GBV), child protection (CP), safe referral pathways development, disaster risk reduction management (DRR/M), building community resilience through training, and building the human capacity of communities, along with project planning, monitoring, and reporting skills.
I also offer a good knowledge of the program and project management processes, including budgeting, project planning, tracking project activities, engaging partners and other stakeholders, preparing operational reports, and proficiency in monitoring compliance. I am looking for ways to improve operations and better methods to achieve more reliable and faster results.
Currently, I am working as an assistant director of protection, gender, inclusion (PGI), and community engagement accountability with the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) at the national headquarters office in Islamabad. As head of the department, I am responsible for overall protection and community engagement SOP development and ensure the implementation of these policies at the field level during cash and voucher, health and wash, livelihood and DRR activities, and community awareness sessions and trainings.
