Currently Working as ICT officer with Medicins Sans Frontier Balgium (MSF OCB) since March 2010 till Now.nMain ResponsibilitiesnICT (information and communication technology) includes all the activities related to IT n(network and mail management, helpdesk, IT device management, etc.) and ntelecommunication (HF/VHF and sat communication, VoIP, videoconference, telephony, etc.).nMain responsibilitiesnAssists the Logistics Coordinator in the definition of the ICT strategies for the missionnOverall support of the IT environment defined in the scope, making sure that it delivers the services required by nthe missions while sticking to OCB IT policies and standards.nResponsible for the IT environment defined in the scope, under technical supervision of the OCB IT unit in Brussels, nrespecting the priorities defined by the missions Log Co. nThis includes the coordination and assistance to the IT assistant(s), if any.nHelps the Logistics Coordination in assessing the needs of the mission and defining adapted strategy aiming to optimize the ninvestment in information and communication technology.1st and 2nd level ICT support and organization of maintenance of ICT environments n(1st level IT support can be delegated to IT assistants where they have been identified)nEscalation of unsolved questions and problems, as well as unusual and expensive requests, to the respective support units in Brussels (dr.Watsonbrussels.msf.org)nSecurity management (backups, anti-malware updates and software patching firewall protection radio protection, etc.)ntraining of local IT assistants (they are carrying on daily maintenance tasks and 1st level support in some offices) and radio operatorsnInformation and data managementnassistance in network development and ICT park management (radios, computers, printers, etc.) respecting OCB standards and policiesntraining of usersnICT asset managementnTechnical advise on local purchase and renting of ICT material
