Team at K-Electric SCADA is responsible to provide the technical support of SINAUT Spectrum Application, oracle database support, SINAUT Spectrum operational database & change management support to Load Dispatch Center of K-Electric.

As an Assistant manager, my responsibilities is to monitor both operational database & source databases , update the mimics of (220KV,132KV,11KV) with respect to the Service Data Layout (SDL) provide by the Load Dispatch Center users , Daily transfer the historical data from operational database to
Data ware house to secure historical data like (Analogs values, Messages, Graphs) etc. Used all historical data archives for future load dispatch calculation, Coordinate with remote terminal unit team (RTU) if master RTU of grid station required maintenance , Configure and build a new grid station in SINAUT Spectrum Application and synchronized with local grid station HMI. Monitor backups of both operational and source database on daily bases. Tune the source database on quarterly bases, Rebuild training environment by restoring latest backup of both source and operational database on quarterly bases. Troubleshoot all critical issues related to operating system, hardware, storages and resolved them before the deadline to avoid the downtime.

Team at Tech Access Pakistan is responsible to provide the technical support, Pre-sales support, and Post-sales support of databases, fusion middle ware, real application clustering, and database streaming which is managing the business related activities of its client.

As a Technical Analyst, my responsibilities is to understand the requirements of clients, demonstrate the proof of concept of oracle products on client premises, troubleshoots all the critical database & application related issues, creating service requests on my oracle support of severity level 1, 2 & 3, coordinate the oracle representative for solution of critical issue and propose the solution to clients before the deadline.

The job responsibilities include monitoring performance of databases, managing databases sizes on daily bases, monitoring daily end of the day database backups both (incremental & Cold ), applying all application change development patches and maintain the repository of its, Performing end of the day & Start of the day of Symbols core banking system ,In case of any critical error occurs then coordinate with SunGard Ambit support engineer, Upgrade the database patches on quarterly bases, restore the production databases on test servers and build the test environment for future development purpose. Performing health check activity of all databases, upgrading the operating system packages on quarterly bases ,daily monitoring the synchronization of disaster recovery site & ensure the disaster recovery site are available for reporting to users ,creating application users and managing the repository of all application users

The job responsibilities were providing solution of database related issue in production support desk all over Pakistan which cover’s 1072 Online Branches and more than 100 Back Office, applying scripts & patches provide by SunGard Ambit, monitoring daily database backups both (Incremental & Cold) also maintain the backup repository of all 1072 branches, coordinate with oracle support if any critical issue occurred related to database, setup and maintaining security policies of symbols application users, managing the test environments for UAT’s of Symbols application ,monitoring the synchronization of disaster recovery site on daily bases and availability of DR site in case of down time occurs ,managing the repository of operating system patches and upgrade production server as well as disaster recovery servers on quarterly bases. Maintaining the repository of database patches and upgrade both production database as well as disaster recovery database on quarterly bases .Providing on call support of server administration & database to all Symbols branches in Karachi.
