The Punjab Saaf Pani Company (PSPC) was established as a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) to conceive, plan, design, execute and manage projects for the provision of safe drinking water to the communities living in rural and peri-urban areas of the province.
Scope of Work Included

Evidence-based need assessment mapping of the province
Procurement of Engineering Management Consultants and Social Mobilization & Engagement Partners (NGOs) through a competitive and transparent process
Identification of the plants/schemes through engineering and social surveys, feasibility studies and Detailed Engineering Design.
Construction supervision till commissioning of the Plants/schemes.
Operation & Maintenance with Community participation and engagement

Specific Responsibilities
The specific scope comprises planning, Design, construction supervision and operation maintenance. Provided services for Design, Construction and project Management of the following works

Overall supervision of Design phase, Execution phase, Operation and maintenance phase, Quality assurance and Quality control of ongoing filed activities.
Coordination with all project stakeholders which includes Parliamentarian, Commissioner and DCO’s, Representatives of Govt. agencies (PHED, Local Govt., MEPCO, Land Record Deptt. Etc.), Engineering management consultants and Social mobilization consultants.
Review of Feasibility study reports, detailed engineering design, Cost estimates, Project documents, EIA/IEE Reports, Bidding documents submitted by Consultants.
Review of Water quality survey reports and GIS mapping prepared on the basis of Primary and Secondary data.
Review of Technical bids submitted by EPC Contractors.
Source verification of potential water sources in accordance with the future forecasted water demand.

·         Review of Environmental Impact Assessment Reports of the Saaf Pani project.
·         Water Quality Monitoring of 116 Plants Installed by M/s KSB under Pilot Project of Punjab Saaf Pani in Bahawalpur Region.
·          Establishment of key performance indicators (KPIs) with the consultation of EMCs in order to evaluate the progress of work on routine basis.
·         Coordinating with the Contractors with regards to hazard identification evaluation of risk and suggesting control measures to reduce risk up to acceptable level.
·         Monitoring of real time android based survey for different components of the project through dashboard.
·         Planning, designing and executing of site specific, economically viable and technically feasible solutions for the provision of safe drinking water.
·         Planning of awareness campaigns regarding WASH during the Social Mobilization survey in Co-ordination with Social Mobilization Consultants.
·         Was involved in Third Party Validation (TPV) OF Installation, commissioning, testing, Operation and Maintenance of 307 UF Plants under CDWA Project owned by LG&CD Dept. Govt. of the Punjab and Executed by M/S KSB Pumps Limited. In four Districts of Punjab.
·         Detailed water Quality Mapping of the province
·         Feasibility study/option analysis on different water treatment solutions for provision of safe drinking water.

• Planning, executing and Monitoring of solid waste management operations right from collection to disposal and further processing.
