Expertly administer all company operations, including, L/C opening, taxes calculation, customs, banking issues, advance payments and supervise transit shipments from origin to destination.
Function in close coordination with suppliers and indenters to negotiate price and payment terms, arrange insurance, proforma invoice as per requisition, calculating the duty and taxes for the purpose of clearance.
Open and amend LC from Bank, ensure on-line delivery of shipment by tracking shipments and coordinate with suppliers as well as with clearing agents for the clearance of shipments.
Check shipping documents and communicate with supplier in case of any discrepancy, work in close collaboration with transportation department for after clearance process.
Exercise hands-on approach to supervise and deliver response to all custom inquiries, requests and achieve required product certifications for all export and import products for custom clearance.
