Presently working as a Head/Manager Audit & Contracts Management (July 2014 – Present) The main responsibilities involve; · Establish and communicate the scope and objectives for the Internal Audit to top management · Conducting Internal Audits of WWF-Pakistan’s Projects, Offices, Producer Organizations (P.Os) and Corporate Partnerships and Fund Raising (CP&F) Campaigns as per the Internal Audit Plan · Develop and execute a risk-based sampling and testing approach to determine whether the most important management controls are operating as intended · As required by the IIA\'s Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing follow-up on reported findings at appropriate intervals and maintain a follow-up database for this purpose · Preparation of Internal Audit Reports and its presentation to the CEO and Board Members · Conducting inquiry/ fraud investigation upon top management’s request · Ensuring that the “Cost Effectiveness” policy is put into practice by the projects and departments to utilize minimum resources for maximum output through operational excellence · Ensuring reliability of financial and management reporting, compliance with laws and regulations and safeguarding of assets · Coordinating WWF- Pakistan’s Project Review Committee (PRC) meetings (twice a year) and ensuring that the PRC guidelines are followed · Supervising hiring process of consultants from all over the world through Quality- Cost Based Comparative Evaluation Process (QCBC) and pre-audits, ensuring their compliance of project(s) · Developing budget plans for the WWF project proposals for International donors, European Union, US & UK Aid · Reviewing and developing draft project contracts/agreements and MOUs for the WWF projects · Maintaining International database of CPM (Insight), EU, World Bank, USAID, GPAF, UKAID, DUNS&SAMS and WWF Network’s World Wide Overview
