I am currently appointed as a National Coordinator at IRD Global for endTB Clinical trials. My key responsibilities include but are not limited to coordinating between government departments like DRAP and NBC/PHRC, liaisons between the stakeholders, and preparing trials related progress reports to be submitted at both government and donors/partners.
I was hired as a Consultant by World Health Organization Pakistan office to conduct a Expanded Experts Survey for Tobacco Control Compliance Project a part of my job includes supporting my supervisor with developing communication strategy for an app Tobacco Spotter which will be launched soon in Pakistan.
At AAN Associates, my experience-based understanding of working with donors, part of my role at was to train new hires in business development processes, including sifting for new opportunities, designing technical proposals and creating project budgets. I have worked extensively in Business Development, writing technical proposals, conducting contract negotiations, and actively looking for new business. In this vein, I worked frequently with UN agencies such as UNICEF, UNDP, UNHCR as well as Grant Challenges Canada. Before I switched from AAN Associates, I wrote and won an LTA (Long Term Agreement) for Eastern and Southern Africa Regional Office UNICEF for my organization, under which AAN will receive Country, Thematic and Multi-Country Evaluations for next 3 Years. I have developed proposals, won and managed projects one of which was a Baseline for DFID funded ASWA II Programme Cambodia and Myanmar, impact evaluation of birth registrations in Nigeria with UNICEF, evaluation of Tahderiyyah education programme in the Philippines with UNICEF. Experience of collaborating with and leading technical teams to develop program proposals that are funded by institutional donors. Excellent understanding of donor trends, priorities and strategies.
I was also involved in leading a medium-sized project delivery team I was the lead in an SRHR project review commissioned by the Royal Norwegian Embassy. I was charged with the responsibility of helping oversee a range of critical pro from conception to delivery. My tasks for this evaluation included development of tools, data collection, data consolidation, analysis and report writing. I was also in charge of the overall direction, coordination, support partners implementation, execution, quality and financial control, progress monitoring and administration of the SRHR project.
I also worked with Centre for Global Public Health Pakistan, University of Manitoba Canada conducting HIV Surveillance in Pakistan. I was involved as a Research Associate with Round 5 for both Mapping and as well as IBBS. The tasks included monitoring field data, validation and consolidation of field data and analysis as well as report writing.
At Plan International, I developed 9 Districts profiles for plan Pakistan Monitoring Evaluation and Research Unit. I worked with Livelihood Unit and conducted a Market Research and Labor Survey for District Chakwal Pakistan. Based on the experience I was given an additional task of training in-house staff in evaluation methods, data collection, and analysis and reporting strategies. An achievement was being nominated as one of the employees for attending the Write-shop on developing Terms of Reference for Plan Pakistan
