1. I act as Assistant Department Head and perform the duties as assigned by Manager Safety & Security and act as Chief Security Officer in his absence.
2. Exercise full technical and administrative command and control over the security staff according to hotel policies rules and regulations.
3. Assist to Manager Safety & Security to train the security staff so that they perform their duties efficiently and achieve the results and objectives set out for security department. He will also be responsible for the efficient and effective running of security department.
4. Ensure prevention of thefts, loss, pilferages damages, destruction, arson, sabotage, fire accident and miss-use all the hotel and guest properties.
5. Establish own source of intelligence in the hotel and get all sort of information in advance, so that necessary arrangements can be made well in time under information of Manager Safety and Security.
6. Ensure prevent of gambling, drinking Alcohol, prostitution and other crimes/offences against Pakistan panel code and repugnant to tenants and teaching of Islam.
7. Ensure general discipline and house rules amongst employees by frequent checking and permissible action.
8. Ensure prevention of bad characters, unauthorized and unconcerned persons to come in hotel.
9. Ensure that all firefighting equipment are in proper place and in working order.
10. Ensure all smoke detectors, heat detectors and fire alarming system is working properly.
11. Ensure all water hydrants and hose reals are working properly.
12. Ensure that all employees of the hotel are going under fire fighting training and Assistant Chief Security Officer to trained them by fire drills, classes and daily briefing and throughout source institutions such as Civil Defense.
13. Carries out and performs any other duties or functions as and when assigned by the management through Manager Safety & Security or directly.
