- Lead in international Medical orders (IMO), Follow-up of IMOs with OCA Supply chain department; foresee costs of IMOs against expenditure.
- Ensure supervision and support to the pharmacy team within the mission.
- Follow-up of pipelines, External contact & networking related to medical supply.
- Analysis of Overstocking, Ruptures and Risk of ruptures.
- Follow the Medical Coordinator instructions and with consideration of national and international laws and regulations.
- Ensure the quality and proper organization of medical supply process.
- Follow procedures and protocols, the proper management of the medical stock in the projects and, in collaboration with the medical coordinator, the correct use of medicines and medical material in the mission.
- Collaboration with logistic department and supply chain department for cargo clearance and custom clearance of medical supplies and equipment within the country.
- Ensure regular consideration on budget allocation and usage of pharmaceutical supplies.

- Defining, coordinating, and monitoring all pharmacy related activities in the Mission, according to MSF standards and values,

- Collaborate with Ministry of Health and DFCA (Drug and Food control authority) Republic of South Sudan, for clearance and regulatory affairs of medical supplies.

- Ensure collaboration and sharing of information with MOH & DFCA regarding Pharmaceutical activities.
- Ensure Pharmacovigilance, maintain EPP stock; MCP Stock and HIV-TB Contingency plan,
- Analyses of the pharmacy stock & Collaboration with Logistic and Supply chain department.
- Ensure proper reporting to HQ, based on proper data, forecasting and real consumptions.

Ø  Ensure a good management stock in the central Pharmacy and in the user units of consumption with the technical support to the nation staff in charge.
Ø  Regular monitoring of stock management at Central Pharmacy and its Units.
Ø  Ensure a good management of stock pharmacy with the MSF tools and with regular technical support to the storekeepers in charge.
Ø  Regular updated of emergency stock to support the project
Ø  To perform the monthly analysis for creation the action plan adapted of stock situation.
Ø  Management of COVID-19 isolation unit supplies.
Ø  Maintain the circuit of supply flow of medical commodities during pandemic.

Ø  Participating actively in the definition and update of the annual planning and budgets of the pharmacy activities in the project.
Ø    Supervising the functioning and organization of the project central pharmacy and other peripheral units, setting the protocols and procedures to be followed by all staff in order to ensure the quality of the service provided to the population, including pharmaco vigilance in case of need.
Ø   Defining storage, stock management and supply processes, as well as hygiene and security procedures, tools, and protocols (controlling pests and rodents) in order to ensure good storage conditions (temperatures, humidity and light exposure) and the accurate handling of the products and equipment in terms of hygiene and that all hygiene and security procedures are followed in project pharmacies (cleaning, controlling pests and rodents, etc.)
Ø   Giving support in the ordering and supply process of medicines and medical devices. Monitoring correct stock management across pharmacies within project area, to guarantee a good control and up to date data of stock levels and avoid expiries, overstocks and stock outs. Reporting on drug consumptions and medical devices dispensed according to protocols, informing on unusual patterns.
Ø   Ensuring, in cooperation with the project logistic manager, proper maintenance of cold chain and storage conditions (e.g. humidity, temperature, light exposure, cleanliness, pest and rodents control, etc.), and that classification and organization of medicines and medical material meet MSF protocols.
Ø   Ensuring the collection of data for monitoring and surveillance of optimal quantity  quality of medicine use. Supporting activities at service level for effective drug distribution and control, quality prescription (analyzing rational drug use), medicines reconciliation, antibiotic stewardship interventions such as restricted use antibiotic review, follow up of pharmaceutical care plans, patient counseling, good dispensing practices and safe medication practices.
Ø       Supervising, coaching, motivating and evaluating all the pharmacy staff under his/her responsibility, in order to ensure the strict respect for working procedures and protocols. Ensuring that all pharmacy staff uses required clothes and equipment according to protocols, i.e. white coat, gloves, etc.
Ø   To define, if needed, training opportunities for the medical staff.
Ø   Carrying out all the reporting tasks associated to his/her field of action and responsibility, ensuring its consistency and accuracy, in order to support in the relevant decision-making and participating in monthly reports according to guidelines (SitReps, medical statistical reports, etc.)
Ø   Planning and supervising, in close coordination with the HR department, the associated processes (recruitment, training/induction, evaluation, potential detection, development and communication) of the staff under his/her responsibility in order to ensure both the sizing and the amount of knowledge required.

 Manage Pharmaceuticals Logistics management Information System.
 Work with team to prepare procurement plans for pharmaceuticals, medical supplies and consumables and medical equipment based on current inventory, consumption and need assessments.
 Ensure compliance with medical supply chain policies and procedures, donor regulations and local laws
 Review medical supply stocks and update reports regularly and make sure WH databases are up-to-date at all times
 Meet with the service deliver team regularly to update project progress and challenges/solutions
 Ensure proper receiving of all medical supplies and equipment in the main warehouse and prepare all related documents accordingly.
 Ensure preparation and maintenance of the records for the received items (Bin cards, stock cards and ledger).
 Arrange and manage medical supplies in the main warehouse in accordance with internationally accepted standard practices including tracking expiration dates, First-In-First-Out (FIFO) and First-Expired-First-Out (FEFO) policy, bin cards, stock cards, tracking registers, re-order thresholds, cleanliness, etc.
 Inform supervisor of pending stock outs, damaged medication or any other irregularity in health commodities stock
 Ensure quality control of medicine and medical equipment in the WH and health facilities.
 Ensure medical inventory at the support heath facilities
 Organize trainings and build capacity of the pharmacists, pharmacist assistants, dispensers working in the Warehouse, drug stores and pharmacies
 Ensure rational consumption of medicines and supplies at supported health facilities.
 Ensure availability of all the essential medicines and medical supplies at all health facilities all the time
 Help health facilities estimating their monthly medicine and medical supplies consumption
 Conduct regular support supervision visits to health facilities
 Provide relevant inputs to weekly and monthly reports.

 Ensure that commodities are inspected, received, stacked in warehouse and issued, recorded and reported as per warehouse SOPs.
 Produce and circulate reports and statistics on daily, weekly and monthly basis to keep the sector heads update about the stocks.
 Prepare monthly drug and supplies distribution plans and execute distribution to SC assigned health facilities in the district.
 Likewise follows drug destruction SOPs and ensure timely implementations.
 Ensure recommended drug management SOPs are displayed at all facilities and followed by dispensers.
 Ensure quality of all aspects of drug management, including procurement, selection, storage (at warehouse and facility level) and distribution to health sites.
 Generate consumption-based quarterly procurement requests and support logistics and field teams to ensure unrestricted supply to all SC supported health facilities.
 Conduct field visits to support health facilities for quality assurance and monitoring effective drug management on every week and identifies gaps and rectify them.
 Maintain minimum stock level of medical supplies in warehouse and all health facilities.
 Maintain cold chain storage in warehouse as per SOP’s and support HF to maintain cold chain at facility where necessary.

 Responsible for ensuring smooth medical (Health & Nutrition) supplies including Essential Medicines, Surgical and Hospital and Nutrition Supplies. The commodities shipment source to the Central warehouse and other field warehouses in Pakistan.
 To ensure medical shipments should meet good condition as per procurement policy. Monitor stock levels, advice on appropriate stocking and replenishment to meet project demands.
 Maintain and update expiry calendar of all the medical (Health & Nutrition) supplies and monitor shelf life regularly.
 Ensure monthly physical stock count, audit and documentation at central warehouse both for GIK (Gift in Kind) & Procured Health and Nutrition commodities.
 Ensure the standard storage specification of medicines and nutrition supplies, monitor humidity and temperature on regular basis. Sampling of stock from DTL and NIH.
 Technical input and close coordination with procurement team, Health & Nutrition program and Logistics staff for procurement, forecasting, and dispatch etc

 Responsible for ensuring smooth medical (Health & Nutrition) supplies including Essential Medicines, Surgical and Hospital and Nutrition Supplies. The commodities received from central warehouse should be issued to Health team and OTP Staff as per distribution plan.
 Monitor stock received and request on appropriate stocking and replenishment to meet project demands. The communication with Program and procurement for timely delivery.

 Ensure monthly physical stock count, audit and documentation at Field warehouse both for GIK (Gift in Kind) & Procured Health and Nutrition commodities.
 Ensure the standard storage specification of medicines and nutrition supplements, monitor humidity and temperature on regular basis.
 The monitoring & evolution (M&E) to Health Static centers, Mobile Health Units and OTP sites to streamline the project needs and technical inputs to workforce as well as administration of the organization.
