• Ensure that immigration health assessment programmes fulfil the requirements of the resettlement countries, including standardization of all aspects of the medical examination and documentation process; medical treatment programmes and immunization programmes.
Provide counselling of TB suspects for sputum examination and TB cases for TB treatment, liaison with the NTP and private physicians for TB treatment, conduct follow up and deliver TB progress reports of TB cases on treatment. Oversee the HIV/AIDS counselling and treatment activities.

In addition, ensure close liaison with and oversight of services by partner specialists of the hospitals and the laboratories involved in the health assessment programs.
Counseling of pre-departure health procedures to potential Migrants (fitness-to-travel checks, pre-departure treatment). Maintain a pool of medical escorts, perform training, coordinate assignments, and provide supervision of escort activities. Liaise with the operations department regarding movements.
Actively participate in organization of the pre-departure check-ups and perform medical escort duties as well as medical procurements related to the health assessment programmes.
Assist in development and implementation migration health activities and programs on HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and mental health in collaboration with national, regional and international partners, agencies and organizations and in close coordination with concerned Ministries and government authorities.
Ensure client friendly environment for all aspects of health assessment process, e.g. services can be accessed easily, are understood by clients, address gender specific matters, and are delivered at affordable rates.
Supervise collection of the demographic, health and epidemiological data and preparation of statistical reports for the stakeholders (donors, health authorities of the resettlement countries, Migration Health Department, MOPHRD, OPF other concerned departments).
Liaise with external service providers, governmental or international counterparts, health authorities of the resettlement countries and government departments, in the absence or on behalf of the CMO.
Manage risks and report on any actions taken. Support the Migration health promotion and Emergency health activities, with the aim to expand and diversify migrant health activities in the country in the domain of migration.
