Gained knowledge and learned steps involved in managing substation projects from award of contract to completion of substation. I completed my rotation in Quality, Procurement, Proposal, Engineering and Project Management functions in Siemens Energy Management Transmission & Solution (EMTS) department. I Worked with procurement department and learned the procedures for preparing quotations from suppliers, tools for price comparison, negotiation techniques, terms & conditions, management approval and purchase orders issuance.
Learned about KPI’s and recording of data for different sites for audit and management presentation.
Studied HSE guidelines and implementation at sites.
Learned tender procedure steps which include bidding strategies, tender review, technical clarification, costing (BOQ), bid approval & submission and handing over to project team
Gained technical knowledge of Siemens products their function and usage in substation e.g GIS (gas insulated switchgear), AIS (air insulated switchgear), Transformers, Breakers etc

Learned procedures used for Aircraft maintenance including Line maintenance and Base maintenance and functionality of instruments used in Aircraft.
• Learned working principal of instruments used in Aircraft.
• Performed and acquired knowledge of instruments calibration.
• Studied & introduced by the electronic system used in Aircraft.
• Maintain an accurate and true daily log of internship activities, experiences and evaluations.
